Parasites in the body exist at the expense of trace elements and food in our intestines. There are many types. The most common are tapeworms, earthworms, trichophytosis and trichocephalus. Symptoms with problems in humans are also different from the abundance of parasite species. For example, there are parasites that leave us hungry by eating the food we eat, others cause anemia by feeding on blood cells, and still others, by laying eggs in the body, cause itching and insomnia. Therefore, the most important thing in treating parasites is to discover the underlying cause (parasite) that is causing the problems in your body.
Signs of the presence of parasites in the body
- constipation or diarrhea, other possible signs of bowel dysfunction;
- while traveling to other countries, you develop diarrhea;
- after food poisoning, the function of your gut changed;
- you have trouble sleeping, you wake up often;
- there are spots on the skin that are not related to allergies or other similar skin diseases;
- gnash your teeth while you sleep;
- joint and muscle pain occurs;
- feeling tired, frequent depression and periodic attacks of apathy;
- after eating you feel hungry, there is no satiety of the body;
- there was anemia due to iron deficiency.
As we can see, the symptoms are completely different, and some of them people attribute to another disease and may not even think of parasites.
How to recognize a parasite
First, pay attention to how you feel, what specifically causes anxiety. If you have bowel problems, whether it is constipation or diarrhea, restless sleep, itchy skin, muscle aches, you should visit your doctor. All the difficulties with the body in the presence of parasites are associated with their release of toxins, which affects the normal functioning of the human body. And disturbed sleep and gnashing of teeth are a sign of anxiety, because the body is talking about the problem. Stool analysis remains the main method for detecting parasites. At the same time, a distinction is made between standard analysis and detailed analysis used in the medicine of functional disorders. Their main difference is in accuracy. Standard analysis can identify a parasite only if it is alive and active. Then, if the pest died at the end of its life cycle, or is in hibernation, the standard method will not work. The result will be negative, and you will be sure that you do not have harmful microorganisms, although that will not be the case. There are no such problems in the detailed analysis, because it uses the polymerase chain reaction method. The method allows you to identify the parasite in any of its conditions and does not depend on the ability of the laboratory assistant to see the pest through a microscope. Thanks to this approach, patients who received a negative standard analysis, after PCR, were surprised to learn about unwanted "roommates", which subsequently allows them to solve the problem with their health.
Methods of treatment
The necessary method of treatment is prescribed by a doctor after receiving the test results. The course of prescribed medication depends on what kind of parasite you have, because what will destroy one pest will not affect another at all. However, there are cases when it is not possible to identify a harmful microorganism, then the doctor prescribes a mixture of different herbs. The most common are magnesium, tribulus extract, barberry and grapefruit extract, infusion of annual wormwood, walnut extract and bearberry extract. All of these ingredients are sold in pharmacies. The mixtures work by creating bacteria that are beneficial to the gut, which is exactly what fights microorganisms harmful to us. If you have had liver disease, or have abused alcohol, check this with your doctor, you may not need to use herbs or you may need to reduce the frequency and number of doses. Remember, most parasites can be identified and eliminated. Pass the examination in time, follow all the doctor's instructions and your health is guaranteed!
